Is a 1997 Isuzu 2.6L engine the same or compatible with a 1994 Isuzu 2.6L engine?

My engine in my 1994 Spacecab Pickup blew and the salvage yard has a 1997 Rodeo with a 2.6L one... I was wondering if they are interchangeable...
