What is the meaning of this tracking result in EMS?

This was the result when I tried to track down the item that I bought through Ebay from a Japanese seller, "Your item number is not found. Confirm your item number and ask at your local office." Hope experienced ebay buyers or ems shippers would help. Thank you so much!
