USPS Priority Mail 5+ days 1 state away?

I understand its kinda stupid how it works but then again there is a lot of mail. you should receive it by tomorrow or monday. i live in Cali. to and it depends were its being send from and what company they chose. if they got a Standard or a UPS it take longer. Fed Ex is faster. if you cant track the Package it may be still in one of the warehouses were they keep the mail.
